Customer Reviews

I recently had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Nathan and it was nothing short of excellent. He was very precise with his pressure and took great care in focusing on my pain points (upper back and IT bands). In conjunction with reducing my pain, the experience was also very relaxing and rejuvenating. I would highly recommend The Caring Touch!

I would like to rate my massage with Nathan, from the Caring Touch 5 shining stars! Nathan came to my home to make it as convenient as possible for me. He set up quickly and converted my extra bedroom into a lovely spa experience, from the professional table to the soothing music. However, where Nathan really came through was with the massage itself. I had a 60 minute full body massage. Nathan was completely professional where I was totally at ease and able to enjoy the full benefits of his expertise in the art and science of massage. I fully encourage anyone to treat themselves to this experience, it was worth so much more that what I paid.

My stress has been through the roof lately, so when Nathan Wildes was referred to me as someone who might be able to help, I took it as a sign and called him. Nathan immediately accommodated my schedule and like magic I was on my way to a much needed self care hour. Rarely have I met a massage therapist with the ability release my tension so immediately. Nathan is that massage therapist that magically changes your outlook and improves your week. I’m happy to say I’ve found a great healthy way to manage my stress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Read below to learn about massage requirements and late/cancellation policies.

You are NEVER required to undress beyond your comfort level. If you choose to wear clothes during the session, it will affect how the massage is administered, but there are numerous effective techniques that can work through clothes. However, massage is most consistently effective and goes more smoothly when applied directly to the skin. The most common practice is to disrobe down to your underwear (bra off for women). YOU WILL ALWAYS BE UNDER A SHEET DURING THE MASSAGE. ONLY THE SPECIFIC AREA OF THE BODY BEING MASSAGED IS EXPOSED AT ANY ONE TIME. Sensitive areas such as the hips/glutes (ONLY MASSAGED BY REQUEST) can remain covered while receiving massage unless you, the client, specifically state that you prefer and are comfortable with receiving massage directly to the skin in sensitive areas.

Lymphatic Facilitation is a special form of service that absolutely requires skin-to-skin contact. However, like regular massage, only the specific area being massaged at any one time will be exposed.

Reiki is performed over clothes. Clients are NEVER required to disrobe at all for a Reiki session.

While all massage is ultimately designed and intended to relieve pain, the degree of intensity of sensation that a client feels during the session depends on the amount of pressure the client requests from the therapist and the conditions within the body the client is experiencing prior to the start of a session. Deep tissue massage often invokes significant bodily sensation, especially in areas of greatest tension or stiffness. AT NO TIME IS THE CLIENT EXPECTED TO WITHSTAND ANY PAIN OR DISCOMFORT BEYOND THEIR TOLERANCE. The client may request a change in pressure AT ANY TIME during the session. The therapist will also check in with the clients from time to time to ensure all work is kept within comfort limits.

A client OR the therapist can reschedule or cancel a booked massage session up to 24 hours in advance with no charges applied.

If a client reschedules or cancels a scheduled massage session more than 12 hours but less than 24 hours before the scheduled date & time of the session, the client will be charged 25% of the rate of the massage.

If a client reschedules or cancels a scheduled massage session less than 12 hours before the scheduled time of the session the client will be charged 50% of the rate of the massage.

If a client reschedules or cancels a scheduled massage session less than 12 hours before the scheduled time on 3 more occasions, the massage therapist reserves the right to refuse service to the client in perpetuity

The client MUST contact The Caring Touch as early as possible if they are going to be late.

If a client arrives late to an in-call session at The Caring Touch home studio (22030 Clarendon St #212 Woodland Hills, CA 91367), The Caring Touch reserves the right to end the massage session at the originally scheduled end time.

The therapist will make up to 3 attempts to contact a client if they are running late for a session. If in those 3 attempts contact has not been made, or if a client arrives more than half-way into the scheduled time period, the massage will be cancelled, and the client will be considered a no-show (see below).

If a client no-shows for a session, they will be charged 50% of the stated rate for their massage session.

If a 90-minute massage was scheduled, but the client arrived late enough to only receive 60 minutes of massage, the massage rate will be reduced to the 60-minute rate. If 3 or more 90-minute sessions incur this same lateness circumstance of 30 minutes or more, the therapist reserves the right to refuse service to the client in perpetuity

If the massage therapist *arrives* 5-30 minutes late to a client’s requested destination for any reason, the rate for the massage session will be discounted 25% and no time penalty will be incurred for the session. If the massage therapist arrives more than 30 minutes late to a client’s requested destination for any reason, the client reserves the right to cancel the massage at no charge, reschedule the session at a later date, or accept the offer of a second massage session scheduled at a later date for 50% off the normal rate for the length of the session.

* The term ”Arrives” is defined as the massage therapist having arrived at the designated location and parked. The client is responsible for providing clear instructions to the massage therapist on a parking location that is safe, legal, and as close to the front door of the designated location as possible.*
Time required for setup of massage table, conversations with client about what is desired for the massage, and time for client to undress and be on the table ready for massage are NOT to be considered as part of any lateness policy with regard to the therapist arriving on-time.

The massage therapist will inform the client by text immediately upon arrival at the parking location or the entrance to the parking location.

If the massage therapist does not arrive at a client’s requested destination for any reason, the client will not be charged for the massage. The client then reserves the right to reschedule the massage session at a later date and reserve a second massage at a date/time to be determined by the client within one year of the original missed session for no charge.
